I don't believe the couple *Yemos/*Manus was the same as the Heavenly twins.
*Yemos is more a kind of giant than a man.
What's your source for depicting *Yemos as a musician? The Theban twins
Amphion and Zetho?

Do not confuse the totemic animals of God of Health/Disease, mole (or
mole-rat) and mouse, with squirrel. The identification of messenger of gods
to a squirrel is nice, since there was ON Ratatosk, but I think there's few
solid traits to assure that. I can't see any squirrel-trait in Prometheus
and Agni. Loki, maybe, but he had many animal metamorphosis.
