aks.ara = unalterable; sacrifice; sword; a letter, a vowel,
a sound, a word (Skt.)

akhr.a = play-ground, place for exercise, parade-ground, school-place,
ojhako resk cecet dur.up akhr.a = the place where the ojha sits
teaching (Santali); akhr.a_ (Bengali).
akhan, akhan jatra = a sacrifice performed by the ojhas on the 1st of
the month of Magh (about 16th Feb.); perform, do (Santali).

akhor. = a character, an evil mark (in sunum bon:ga); Ban:gla reak
akhor. = Bengali characters (Santali).

ak sar = bow and arrow (Santali).

aks.ara is perhaps a Munda word in Sanskrit. Are there IE cognates?
