In my opinion, the Ivernian language probably was the language spoken
by people living in the former tribe lands of the Hiberns from whom
the Romans gave the name Hiberni to Eriu. The Greek name for Eriu
which is "Iri" is derived from the "Eriu", which is the Gaelic name
for Ireland.
