For the active, Classical Greek has ede:doka (Aristophanes Eq 362; Xenophon
Anab. 4:8:20 etc).

Earlier Greek does show the participle ede:dws (Iliad 17:542), but no finite
forms as far as I am aware.

There are perfect passives built on the ede:d- stem in both Homer (Odyssey
22:56) and later Greek.

I guess that makes you both right.
