It certainly does, at least in the northern dialect (Gheg, or Geg) -- which
has been overall much more innovative than its southern counterpart (Tosk)
during the last five centuries (the Ottoman era). Even within the Gheg
dialect, it never acquired any kind of literary status, probably because the
writers will have considered the extreme compression "vulgar."

Otherwise the word itself belongs to what the two dialects share.
