I'm not sure about <Gjin>. It certainly is a very old Christian name, but it
might be a hypochoristic of anything. A comparison with <Ginus> sounds too
easy, but it might as well be the winning one (it has certainly been
explained somewhere, but I'm not sure where exactly).
