Yes I do, and I am sorry if I have hurt your feelings.
I must confess to watching Discovery Channel and using other
similarly inappropriate sources. I saw somewhere that some excavations
in Poland for Germanic stuff were made by "Ahnenerbe" and similar
organizations. Under those circumstances I would not have been
surprised if some finds had been discredited out of hand (as
those "inappropriate sources" often do), but I had no facts about it.

Actually, the past decades have brought a great wealth of Gothic
finds all over northern and eastern Poland, and any archaeologist
would be more than happy to discover an important Gothic settlement
anywhere, especially in Gdansk or Gdynia, to add the cities more
historical glamour.
