Actually, in present-day Polish the normal educated pronunciation of the barred <l/> (once a dental variety of dark [l]) is simply [w] -- we have delateralised it completely.

Some of us, Piotr, know how to pronounce it - especially the barred l - but in that context find it unbelievably difficult actually to do.  The curse of a mother tongue with wildly retracted velar L's!
