There are places where one can create a webpage that includes means for a
chat room and/or a bulletin board -- for example: www.homestead.com
I think homestead uses another service for the bulletin board that might be
used independently. Not sure what yahoogroups offers (positively) that you
might lose by going this route.
I think AOL offers a groups site, but it might not allow not aol subscribers
to sign one, which is a big waste.
Or you could just form an old fashioned news group -- however that is done.
