Well, we have an archaic Lepontic form written in a northern Etruscan
alphabet that reads :
uvamogozis = uvamo "high" [*up-am-o] + gozis "choice" [*geus-t-]
The problem is deciding what the -v- actually represents - some believe it
stands for a consonantal -w-, while others argue for an English -v- or -f-.
In later Gaulish, we would expect *upamo to be *uam-o.
