Oh, please Joao. Don't even joke about that. <:( The last thing anyone
should do is derive hard linguistical conclusions out of genetic studies. I
don't think this tree says much in terms of linguistics. I would like to
imagine that there is at least a 20,000 year-old rift between Basque and
Nostratic and that Basque is closer to NEC languages.
Whatever the case may be, we can't find a definitive answer in genetics.
This only hints at demic spread, not linguistic spread. "Demic", "cultural"
and "linguistic" spreads are not interchangeable.

I couldn't imagine where _my_ Y-chromosome came from. It has a mind of its
own. It keeps odd hours, goes out at night and doesn't even phone me to tell
me where it's been or if it's alright. It doesn't even pick up after itself
in the house while I slave day in and day out cooking and cleaning. Why
can't it be like the good ol' matrifocal days? If I had half a mind, I'd
kick my Y-chromosome right out the door. Y-chromosomes - you can't live with
them, you can't live without them... well, actually, I guess you could but
then you'd grow breasts...

Sorry folks, I'm tired right now and very delirious. I'm going to take a nap
now. Bye. Zzzz...
