Then the verb would have to be translated as 'disperse'/'distribute', wouldn't it? Well, I suppose it just might make some sense as a reading of something made up of "(p)ro-" + "beat, strike". Do you happen to have Meid's interpretation of the full inscription (if he offers one)?

Wofgang Meid thinks that arsnas' (acc. plur.) refers to the "harvested crops" (Welsh ar- "arable land/tilth").
