It seems to me that there might be a connection between Celtiberian
SilaPur (to be analyzed as *Silbur) and the Latinized Hispanic
placename Mons Silurium (perh. "Silver Mountain"?). If this
connection is correct, then we might also draw in the Welsh tribal
name Silures (whom Tacitus thought came originally from Spain based
upon their physical traits).
There is otherwise no Gaulish or Insular Celtic word *Silbur
