Recent results from French geologists' teams (Gilles Lericollais and
Ryan)point to the invasion of the Black Sea under-sea level by the
Mediterranean Sea about the period 7 500 years BC, with a consequence
of an increase of 100-130 meters of the sea level of the Black Sea
(proven to have been a sweet water lake before this event by
geological evidence).
This has the consequence that the people living at that time around
the sweet water lake have been chased from their territories by a
flooding estimated as fast as 30 cm increase of sea level per day,
lasting about one year for reaching the equilibrium with the
Mediterranean.
This of course funds strongly the myth of Atlantide but has very
important consequences on the history. It could have been that Indo-
Europeans have been forced to move earlier than thought, about 7500
BC in stead of 3 500 BC.
What is your thinking?
I would appreciate to have more information about the Atlantide myth
and its recurrence in indo-european people.
