Hmm.. interesting. Egyptian versions of the cosmic egg myth are
usually of the Falcon (Ra, Horus), not of the Ibis (Thoth). Given
the
galloping syncretism that you speak of though, a late source may have
Thoth as a creator god, particularly his association with the
Greco-Roman Hermes.
