The following URL is a very nicely-presented piece. Unfortunately,
Prof. Izady does not present evidence for his statement that Indic
(not Iranian) people migrated as Mitannis to constitute the
artistocracy among Kurds. Of course, the evidence of Mitanni texts
(Varuna, Indra, Naasatya etc.) have been elucidated by Prof.Thieme as
Indo-Aryan (and not Indo-Iranian).
Has any linguistic analysis been published on interactions between
Kurd language and IE?
Read with the Croats claiming to have come from the
Sarasvati/Haraqvaiti River basins, the story of migrations of the
second millennium becomes very interesting.
