Isn't the 'rh' of Tyrrhenos rather a case of the Greek sound change /s > h/, written as rho+rough breathing, represented by the /rh/ graphy in the Latin alphabet?

Cheers and Happy Easter to all

By the way, is the Ausora-Aurora shift another of the s-r replacement
we found in Tyrsenoi-Tyrrhenoi I wonder.

it's just ordinary Latin rhotacism (intervocalic *s > *z > r), as in flo:s 'flower', gen. flo:ris, or tempus, pl. tempora (< *tempos, *tempos-a). Aurum 'gold' is likewise from *aus-o-m. Older *-rs- regularly gives Latin -rr-.
