No, no. It comes from *jemos, of course. What I'm saying is that <yama-> and
<ymir> are unrelated to each other, but that the latter is related to
<jumis>. Two different etymologies.
The <-m-> of <ymir>/<jumis> is suffixal (*jumjos via deverbal *ju-mó-, I
suppose), while in *jemos the *-m- belongs to the root (*jem-o-).
