[Alvin] Pokorny relates Illyrian Buni to modern Albanian terms
for
dwelling like bunë or even buj or banoj. The river Buna/Bunë
goes
from the lake of Shkodër to Adriatic sea.

[Moeller] does Pokorny says something about the meaning of
"Buni, Buna/Bune:" too?And what does it means today in
albanian. Does it means soemthign or is just a simply name?


The name of Illyrian king Bardhyl- is still explained with
Albanian
words bardh + h/yll (shining star).

Some other words I ran into:

Illyrian en/anna/AnnUla (mother) is related to Albanian
nana/nënë
(mother, grandmother), amë (mother), maybe even
ninananë/ninullë (a
song sang by a mother to her child).

[Moeller] both are in romanian to find to. Nana and ana and
romanians sing too to their children nani-nani

Illyr. potnia (lady), Alb. ije/ija (grandmother, old lady),
zojë/zoja/zonjë/zonja (lady).

[Moeller] didn't you got the explanation that the basic word
for this is the slav "zena"? It is usual , just because of it
