Rationale for Phonetic Thai

These character codes are designed for use by an Englishman. The design principles were:

Short vowels are lower case; long vowels are upper case.
Where two Thai letters lay claim to a Latin letter, the commoner letter gets lower case.
If the sound does not suggest a code, the appearance does. The resemblance is sometimes forced.
The escape code is a percentage sign. This is used for extra letters.
%e switches to Roman alphabet, %f to phonetic Thai, and %K to Kedmanee.
