In so far as it's not simply trendy, I suspect these fonts are just to
look Western and therefore up-market. The actual line of text is a bit
of a mix. It consists of two compound words, both ending in silenced
letters. The first is Sanskrit (or at least, compounded of Sanskrit
elements, both with English cognates) and the second is the English
word 'on-line'.
