I just stumbled across something that may interest some people here. It
also may be very old news to those people, but it's new to me.
There's a Yahoo! group for (La)TeX/METAFONT for Conlangs.

Many qalamists are more general language fans (I use the term
"ling-weenie"), and many of those are conlangers too, so you may want to
check it out.
