My. For one thing, it's interesting that my fonts and browser (Opera 8.5)
rendered every hanzi, and being very much an amateur, I would think these
to be uncommon ones. Otoh, Unicode probably included these hanzi from
later versions of this dictionary. In some cases, I looked carefully at
the correct and incorrect characters, and did not see any difference. (In
another case, I just simply didn't see the difference, at first.) Scaling
the display for larger characters helped, of course.

After seeing these examples of "correct" and "incorrect", I'll no longer
be anywhere nearly as willing to think that hanzi/CJK are "designed" for
minimal confusion and misreading.

While this is not my main field of interest, it's impressive to look
through such a document; it surely looks like true scholarship.
