Several people here have been arguing precisely that - that ME's kb does
not preclude in anyway anyone else making whatever kb they deem useful.

My takeaway from all this is it is likely there are at least 2 classes
of users that might eventually prefer very different keyboards, and work
on one of them is already underway.
