Hmm, could have 2 issues confused. Perhaps it was when someone referred
to you as "Pete" or left out your middle initial in a citation of some
sort. I guess we are going to get into a knock down drag out fight
although I don't want to and I will have to go through the voluminous
messages you have left behind to find out what it was to cause me to
think this. But it won't be high on my agenda - you will have to be
patient or do it yourself.

Except for those of us that know each other in person (as some can say
of me on this list), that would be true for all of us. I have no idea
what your true name is either, nor do I care. I jsut refer to you the
way you sign your messages, and I expect the same courtesy from you.

Having been living near the respective cities when the proverbial shit
hit the fans in drug scandals concerning both Barry Bonds and Marion
Barry, I can assure you my friends have had plenty of fun with me and
the ensuing very large font headlines they produced :)

No, I am not any of the aforementioned people named Barry.

Best,

Barry

PS - not sure if this is better for this list or for vellum (which I am
not on) or both, but this just occurred to me while writing about large
headline on qalam -

To what extent do various writing systems and their fonts use more or
less ink in a production heavy environment such as daily newspapers or
books? Seems as if there is a variation in ink usage and production
effort of just a few percent between some serif and some other non-serif
font, that might make a difference to a newspaper these days or in days
of yore. Does anyone have any info?
