About 20 years ago, when I was listening to Cubs games on the radio, I
first noticed that the announcers were using "may" instead of "might"
("If he'd pulled that a little to the left, it may have gone into the
bleachers").

Now it's everywhere.

But I doubt that's what Marco was noting!
