Some time ago, I was trimming off excess black plastic from the uprights
for a low-cost, poorly-designed set of storage shelves. The shavings were
maybe an inch and a half/four cm long, roughly; many were C-shaped, but of
course with variations. On a light-colored tile floor, I suddenly realized
that the random collection of shavings looked something like Arabic script!
