It hasn't, but this happens periodically. People innocently ask why
Unicode treats script X in such-a-such a fashion, and the people here
conversant with Unicode respond. On occasion, when Unicode doesn't
follow the proper theoretical model (either for political or practical
or other considerations), the conversation descends into an acrimonious
debate as to why Unicode is (or is not) wrong to have done something a
particular way.

It does, and it's certainly appropriate to steer people towards it when
the discussion gets too off-topic and lengthy for here.
