This is, to use a technical term, bullshit.

system, Alex?"

A "morphophonemic system," if you mean a sort of writing system, would
be one like English's, where morphemes retain their spelling even when
their pronunciation changes: serene/serenity, divine/divinity,
photograph/photography, read/read.
