I have to tell you that it is wonderful..Somewhat like Pinyin - it
offers choices for all the syllables. It displays a dialog box of
all syllables beginning with that consonant. The syllables are all
displayed with characters in the correct sequence, precomposed.
Then you can type the English letters to create that syllable. It is
indeed much more than transliteration - it is the ultimate syllable
level display. I can't explain how wonderful it is to type with
something that respects the character of the script. Any child can
learn this.

If you ever try it make sure to enable the syllable dialog feature.
Somewhat like the new Pinyin, it opens on a certain key, not sure
yet which one. I never dreamed that someone would see it the way I
did - but it is indeed there. I am so thrilled with my inventory of
syllables, aksharas, whatever you want to call them. Thank you
Microsoft- just wish it hadn't taken me three months to find it.
However, the download page was updated a few days ago so maybe this
is new. It will revolutionize Indic computing.
