It does have fricatives: "The type of stop is expressed using diacritic
elements [...] Fricatives are indicated by drawing hair on the top or bottom
of the head" (http://www.zompist.com/elkwrite.htm). Funny writing system!
BTW, is it OK to call "stop" a fricative?
