qalam discussion list:
Hello. I am new member here. I am very interested in ancient and
ethnic writing systems from around the world. I specialize in
endangered indigenous syllabaries of the Philippines. If anybody here
is interested in starting the discussion on indigenous and ancient
alphabets, scripts, and syllabaries of the Philippines, then please
post a topic and question here in this qalam forum or participate and
also join the discussion at the ABSN at this web address-
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/alibata/
The ABSN is looking for alliances, partnerships, and friendship
between other yahoogroup discussion lists that are in the research
Alphabets, syllabaries, logographs, ideographs, hieroglyphs and about
the writing systems of the world. Our goal is to expand the
discussion and interests of other writing systems in other countries
that may have been overlooked or underestimated in its historical
significance. For example, ancients scripts of the Philippines is
practically related to all the topics discussed in the qalam list.
But the Philippines is hardly mentioned. Why? Well, bring your
debate, arguement, discussion, and interests to the ABSN and find out
why.
