I suppose it's a matter of point of view. Transferring font concepts
from Latin to Cyrillic is a Cyrillicization of the font, or a
Latinization of the script.

Since it was Tsar Peter who first Latinized the Cyrillic alphabet,
perhaps the process should be called "Petrifaction". :-)

Here on the Lower East Side of NYC, I frequently see Hebraicized
Latin fonts in neon signs.
