The Grand Unified Syllabary project (GUS) has produced a new version
of the project data base this week. The effort attempts to record
syllabic script properties and provide an IPA based mapping between
the syllabaries of Unicode.

Review is needed of the Cherokee treatment, also Yi and the Canadian
Aboriginal Sylalbics have received only basic treatment. Input is
deperately desired from phonology and orthography experts in these
writing systems.
