Indeed, the last two days were quite exceptional compared to the usual Qalam rate: November 2001 is by far the top ranking month in Qalam's history. It has more than doubled the previous record month, October 2000.

Actually, three: one of them subscribed again a few hours later. Maybe that member just had technical problems.

This makes me think that also the quality of the discussion must have been exceptional, not just its quantity. Otherwise, I guess that many more people would have said bye-bye.

I always wanted to change it to "Sesh", which is the Egyptian for "writing". But I guess that it's always a bad idea to rename things.
