No, a Belgian man. The lady in question was an American in Paris who
thought it was the neatest thing since sliced bread (digital watches --
pick your favourite frozen metaphor). At the moment, that's most of what I
remember. I grabbed some figures from her page while it was still in
existence to use in a presentation I gave for a literacy class. I'm
sticking one in here (and hopefully it survives the delivery):
