OK. I vote that qalam use ISO-2022-JP 8-)} 8-)}

Seriously though, I keep my mail reader set to ISO-2022-JP, but I am
quite happy to take the three or four steps necessary to read UTF8
mail if it looks interesting enough. I think UTF8 is a good long-term
move for this list.
