Subject: [phoNet] Russian Voiceless Stops

Are Russian voiceless stops heavily aspirated?
Are they aspirated at all?
No, they aren't. Russian-speaking people sometimes even perceive German lenited ("voiced") stops as their voiceless ("translating" Russian voice stops into voiceless is a traditional way of mocking a German accent in Russian).
