So this is irrelevant. It was probably maliksi.
Turkish writes things like gitti, yetti, but they are realy pronounced gitdi,
yetdi etc.

The term was recorded as <maligsí> in old dictionaries. The Spanish
lexicographers asked their informants to pronounce the terms slowly and
clearly.
