Dear Alyssa,
thank you for message with the sad information about Jim's passing. We all
are indebted to Jim for his coordination for this pālistudygroup. He was a
great connoisseur of Pāli. I condole with Jim’s family.

by nature arising and passing away.
If they arise and are extinguished,
their eradication brings happiness.

kaum entstanden, schwinden sie.
Ein Glück ist, wenn das aufhört.

Five days ago on 26.6.2562 B. E. (2019) the German Indologist, Buddhologist
and religious studies scholar Hans Wolfgang Schumann is passed away too.
