Dear Aleix,

Thank you very much, and thank you too for your contribution to the Spanish translation of "In the Buddha's Words." I received three copies and am still searching for suitable libraries to which to donate them. Here in upstate New York there are not many native readers of Spanish.

With all best wishes,

Bhikkhu Bodhi

Dear Pali friends,

Please find attached a searchable transcript, in PDF, of Andersen and Smith's edition of the Pāli Dhātupāṭha and Dhātumañjūsā. I hope it will be soon available in .txt (UTF8) format at GRETIL. I did the transcript for my own use, in order to locate dhātu-s when they are cited in scholastic texts. I was thinking of updating Andersen and Smith's edition it with more materials and footnotes from grammatical literature (Mukhamattadīpanī, Rūpasiddhi, Saddanīti, etc.), together with a short study on the history and development of the Dhātupāṭhas, specifically the Pāli ones, but for the time being I think the searchable format will be useful enough. I may work on the updates in the future if I find the time and the energy. Comments and corrections will be most appreciated.

Best wishes,
Aleix
