Sad news. Ole was born in 1945. I have an anthology of his translations into Danish, "Buddhismen. Tekster fra Theravada-traditionen", 2005. These are fine translations!

Dear Members,

I have just received the sad news from Aleix that Ole Holten Pind passed
away a week ago on December 13th. Ole had been a member of our group since
August 2, 2005 and was a frequent contributor to the list until he became
seriously ill some years back. I believe he would be in his early 70s at the
time of death.

I don't have much information to offer but will be on the lookout for an
obituary to post to the group. I think he will be best remembered for his
involvement with the Critical Pali Dictionary. He also wrote a number of
articles for academic journals.
