Hi Jim,

I've been using

Download - Tavultesoft

for years, which I've had no problem with for Sanskrit and Pali. the input method is very simple, two vowels for longs, . + letter for underdots, etc., and very easy to turn on and off with just one keystroke (alt + . = on; alt + , = off). One can also use it for other languages like French and German, etc.,

Best wishes,

Bryan

Dear Connie and Royce,

Thank you both for your links. Connie's link is most helpful as it has
installation instructions for Windows 10 whereas the Indology links are
mostly for Indian scripts.

The input method for the alt-latin keyboard layout uses many AltGr dead keys
making it possible to include most of the characters used in Latin-based
European languages like German and French in addition to romanized Pali and
Sanskrit, the ultimated international keyboard layout—e.g. AltGr (right alt)
+ a, a > ā ; AltGr + a, i > ī ; AltGr + u, u > ü and so on.

Best wishes,

Jim
