I enclose a write-up on Pali studies available at he University of Toronto for the 2016-2017 academic year, under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Emmrich. Prof Emmrich  is teahing introductory Pali, and Libbie Mills and myself are teaching intermediate and advanced.

If you know of anyone in the Toronto area who is thinking of studying Pali, please pass this information circular on to them. Classes will start in September.

May I also take this opportunity to remind the group that the International Association of Buddhist Studies (IABS) conference will be held in Toronto next August (2017), and anyone interested in presenting a paper at the conference should submit it at home - International Association for Buddhist Studies 2017 University of Toronto. Subissions are open unttil October 1, 2016,
