I think the grammar allows for this. The process of partial Sanskritization of Paishaci left some old Paishaci forms in Pali. Both are equivalent. I'm not sure if I have a reference for you, but I learned Pali and Sanskrit to speak in those languages. So I intuitively understand this usage.

The offending word is bavhannapānaṃ. This is pretty obviously a typo, and it's not just with the Roman. The Devanagari version has it too: बव्हन्‍नपानं

The Thai version has bahunnapānaṃ, which I guess is what is in the original Myanmar as well? Does anyone have any insight on this?
