Dear Bh. Nyanatusiia,

Thank you for your response to Rajith's message. He has since contacted me
directly and I will soon be sending him my response. I think there is much
good material to be drawn from Lance's postings over the past 11 years and
much of it is already in the public domain. A commerative volume sounds like
a worthwhile undertaking and I would be happy to help Rajith bn bringing
together some of Lance's posts. My guess is that there could be at least 150
posts in the archives (20 for last year).

I'll be discussing the matter with Rajith over the coming days.

Best wishes,

Jim

Dear Rajith,

I will leave this for Jim to decisively answer, but what comes to my
mind is that things posted on forums are sometimes written a bit
hurriedly and not very deeply worked out or very well written. Therefore
I am not sure if Lance would be very happy if his forum comments were to
be made into a book, but perhaps Jim has another opinion.
Personally I think that it would be better if his former academic
students and colleagues were to organise an academic Festschrift in
commemoration of Lance and get it published through an academic
institution.
Perhaps his academic articles could all be republished in one volume.
The latter could be possibly be published by the BPS although the BPS is
not really an academic publisher.

Best,
           Bhikkhu Nyanatusita
