Balaji,

I understand your spelling theory, but what about the "h" sound in the end, it is not pronounced clearly if it comes after a consonant, right?

Assuming you are right, are the sounds of "bramha" then b-r-a-m-h-a or b-r-a-m-a ? Same question would apply for simha, whereas in hamsa I believe the h is surely clearly pronounced?
