I'm sorry. Please treat the question as withdrawn. However, let me explain why I asked the question. I don't think there was any objection to the idea of having definitions and in particular, a definition for Pali. Definitions of Pali in OD, EB etc relate Pali to Buddhism. And Buddhism was defined as religion or/and philosophy. I had a problem. Is Pali language of Buddhist religion or philosophy?
I did another similar thing. I sent off a message giving the OD definition for Buddha because Buddha and Buddhism are related. I am indeed very sorry for the commotion I have created.
