44. 24. Abbho abhi (57).

Abhi icc' etassa sare pare abbhādeso hoti.

‘Abhi’, when a vowel follows, is substituted for ‘abbh’.

[‘abbh’ is the substitute of ‘abhi’ when a vowel follows. --ja]

Abbhudīritaṃ, abbhuggacchati (M. i, 177).

Examples:
abbhudīritaṃ: abhi udīritaṃ; abbh udīritaṃ (44); abbhudīritaṃ.
abbhuggacchati: abhi uggacchati; abbh uggacchati (44); abbhuggacchati.
