Hi Noah,

I use the Digital Pali Reader all the time - it's a great tool. Once I have
installed the extension, how does one get it started?

Also, Noah, how do I correlate the DPR section to the PTS page number? Is there
a way of doing that? Thanks for your help,

Best wishes, Bryan

Subject: [palistudy] Atthakatha Lookup

Dear Friends,

Just thought it might be of interest to this group that the DPR now has
a commentary lookup for all terms discussed in the atthakatha.  Rather
than simply searching through the commentary for a specific term, this
allows one to search specifically within those words and phrases from
the tipitaka that are the object of discussion in the commentaries.

All I've done is take the list of words that are bolded in the
commentaries on the CSCD version of the tipitaka and put them in
alphabetical order, so the list is most likely not perfect.  Some words
are found in several forms, but I have grouped words that have been
lengthened with those that have not been (e.g. dhammaa'ti goes with
dhamma).  Again, it is certainly not perfect, but I think it does a good
job of providing quick access to the commentarial literature.  Here's a

and the DPR, which is now a Firefox or Chrome extension, is still here:

Best wishes,

Yuttadhammo
